Camp Ney-a-ti
July 26th - July 4th, Camp Ney-a-ti
July 26th - July 4th, Camp Ney-a-ti
Join us on Wednesday from 6-7, children’s classes provided. We will be working on language necessary for ordering food in Spanish.
This year’s Bible Bowl text is the book of II Samuel, which includes several stories that show the uglier side of human nature (wars, executions, David & Bathsheba, Amnon & Tamar, etc.). Therefore, we are encouraging parents of younger children to use their discretion and study WITH their children, handling the stories as they think best. We have confidence in the Bible Bowl officials that the questions in the actual Bible Bowl this September will be appropriate and will cover the material inoffensively, although students who have skipped some of the stories cannot expect to get all the correct answers. Therefore, the study questions that we write for the older students will cover the material thoroughly and will only be given out to high school and middle school students, and to the parents of younger children who want them.
